Installation of air conditioning/heat pump system.
The location of your units will have been discussed and clearly laid out within your quotation.
The internal unit will be mounted in the specified area, whether it is a wall, floor or enclosure, depending on the type of internal unit specified for your system. The internal and external units are connected together with pipes and cabling. At this point, they are installed along with the outside unit, which is secured in its location. The outside unit can be floor or wall mounted, again depending on your requirements as set out in your initial visit.
Once the two units have been connected together, they are pressure tested. Then, the air and humidity are removed from the system using a vacuum pump. The system can then be connected to the home electrical wiring system, either by its own dedicated supply or from an existing outlet, depending on the system type. This will be discussed and confirmed within the initial visit.
Once everything is connected, the system can be activated and is then subject to a series of running tests to ensure the units are working at optimum performance. If required, the units can then be connected to a WiFi network. A run-through of the system settings and features will be shown to the customer to ensure that they can fully utilize the advanced remote controls and associated apps.
Once the installation is complete, single internal units can usually be installed within a day and are ready to use straight away. ready to use straight away. ready to use straight away. ready to use straight away.
